My Reflection about Genius Hour

What:
What I did for Genius Hour was go on a website called ABCYA drawing and started drawing a solar system because that is apart of our Genius Hour. Also me and my group was looking at websites that can help us with making clay and play dough because we are going to create planets with the clay and play dough.

 So what: 
I was going on ABCYA drawing because that was apart of our Genius Hour I was saying at “WHAT” also because our question is “ Why isn't Pluto a planet any more “.

Now What: What I am going to do next time is to carry on looking for websites and start putting my copying and pasting into my own words because I made a document and put all my facts in it too.

Kia ora everyone and this is my brainstorm about what I wonder about and we are brainstorming I wonders because on week 7 we are going to May Road school. To collaborating with May Road and we are also going their because we have this thing called Genius Hour. And Genius Hour is when you get to be the boss of yourself like you getting to learn what ever you want. Isn't that AMAZING!!!!! because I hope it is.

Key Competencies word cloud

What my teacher loves about me is that I am always happy to help others if they need it.

I use my manners in class and show respect to others, including adults.

When I am working with groups I am able to share my ideas and listen to other people’s ideas. I like to collaborate with others and have worked with others on my Curiosity Projects.

I have also learnt from my mistakes this term. Making mistakes and learning from them is good. It shows I have tried to do things, learnt it hasn't worked, tried again and achieved some of my goals.

We have been exploring Thinglink and using it to create content which other people can learn from.
This Thinklink is about ocean currents.
3 things I have learnt about ocean currents are:

• The ocean currents help the fishes find food.
• The Ocean currents move around the world.
• The ocean current keeps the ocean warm from the terrible cold.

My Information report about clownfish

This term we are learning about Marine Habitat. I have been learning about Clown fishes and here is three cool facts about clown fishes:

1) Clown fish are aggressive by nature. They will attack divers if they try to approach the anemone.

2) Percula clown fish is a type of clown fish which introduce it self to the anemone by performing a dance.

3) Clown fish is small in size. They can reach between 2 or 5 inches in length.

XtraMath basic facts progress.

This is my XtraMath progress .
Now down here is what all the colours mean.
Green means you got it right and you typed it in fast.
And yellow means you got it right but you did it too slow.
A blank square means you missed it or you typed the wrong answer.
And a red x means you got it wrong.
My goals are: to practice my basic facts like 5+2 and 1+9 so I could answer it under 3 seconds.  I know I already know what 1+9 is but I just need to answer it faster.
